Once your website is connected and your plan is active, the exchange runs on its own. Here is what happens behind every backlink.
Connect your site through one of our 23+ publishing integrations and keep the exchange switched on. Your paid plan adds 100 backlink credits to your account every month, and unused credits roll over.
Every day at 5 AM UTC, the matching engine ranks member sites by how close their topic is to yours and by how reliably they publish. Sites with a high spam score, sites you share an owner with and sites already linked with yours are filtered out.
The next article published on that site includes one link to your most relevant page, inside a sentence where it adds context. You never write a guest post or approve a pitch.
The crawler checks the linking page right after it is published and again every few days. Verified links keep their credits. A link that cannot be found, or disappears later, is refunded and replaced automatically.
