Best AutoSEO Alternative for Daily SEO Articles and Backlinks

01 · Price, links and track record

BlogSEO faviconBlogSEOvsAutoSEO faviconAutoSEO

Same Daily Autopilot, Different Price and Track Record

AutoSEO (getautoseo.com) is a done-for-you AI SEO service: it writes and auto-publishes one article a day and places network backlinks on other customers' sites, all on a single plan. That makes it one of the closest matches to BlogSEO, since both publish 30 articles a month with backlinks included. The differences are the price, how much of each promise is documented, image output and the track record of the domain itself.

What AutoSEO Does Well

AutoSEO is simple to buy: one plan, little to set up and a $1 three-day trial. Its Trustpilot reviews (4.1/5 across 116 reviews) mostly praise article quality and support, and it lists 11 publishing platforms, including Squarespace and Duda.

Why Pay $149 for What BlogSEO Does for $97?

On monthly billing, AutoSEO costs $149/month for 30 articles, while BlogSEO costs $97/month for the same 30 articles: $624 less a year. AutoSEO's yearly plan brings it to $99/month paid upfront, and its site warns that the price will rise to $199 for new customers. Both tools include backlinks: AutoSEO advertises 5 to 10 a month, but its Terms say the number and timing are not guaranteed, while BlogSEO's backlink exchange runs on a vetted network of 500+ sites with published placement rules.

Only AutoSEO's WordPress plugin and Shopify app have public setup documentation, against 23 integrations for BlogSEO. AutoSEO does not name its AI models, and featured images on its own blog are 1376×768 (measured October 2026), while BlogSEO writes with GPT-6 Astra and Claude Opus 5.5 and generates images up to 2K. AutoSEO also has no AI visibility tracking, which BlogSEO offers as an $89/month add-on.

Worth Checking Before You Sign Up

The getautoseo.com domain hosted an earlier AutoSEO product, a WordPress plugin for technical SEO, in 2023 and 2024. Semrush shows the domain's rankings growing to about 750 keywords in 2024, then collapsing to almost zero the same year, and only coming back in 2026. A collapse like that usually means a site was deindexed, penalized or taken offline. AutoSEO has not said which, and it is a fair question to ask before you give any service publishing access to your domain. Smaller details are worth a look too: in October 2026, its French pages still showed US-dollar figures next to euro prices.

05 · FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About AutoSEO

Quick answers on AutoSEO's pricing, integrations, features, and limits, and how BlogSEO compares on each point.

What Are the Best Alternatives to AutoSEO?

The best AutoSEO alternatives in 2026 are BlogSEO (Hands-off articles, backlinks and 23 integrations for $97/month), Outrank (Flat-priced article autopilot with a backlink exchange and webhooks), Distribb (API-first SEO autopilot for founders who work with AI agents), BabyLoveGrowth (GEO-focused daily content with a large partner backlink network) and SEO.ai (Articles, link exchange and Google Ads handled for one site).

How much does AutoSEO cost?

AutoSEO has a single plan. On monthly billing it costs $149/month for 30 articles a month (US pricing; visitors in the EU see €129/month and in the UK £115/month). Billed yearly, it costs $1,188/year, which works out to $99/month, and the Shopify app lists $990/year. The plan cost $99/month when the current product launched in late 2025, and the site now warns that the price will rise to $199/month for new customers. Each website needs its own plan. BlogSEO costs $97/month for 30 articles on monthly billing, about 35% less, with extra websites at $97/month and volume discounts from 3 sites.

Does AutoSEO have a free trial?

Not on its website: the trial costs $1 for 3 days and then converts to the paid plan unless you cancel. The Shopify app lists a free 3-day trial. AutoSEO's Terms give a 7-day money-back window on monthly plans and 30 days on yearly plans. If you are refunded, the Terms require you to delete the articles AutoSEO created, and AutoSEO removes the backlinks it built. BlogSEO offers a free 3-day trial and a 48-hour refund window on the first payment.

Which platforms does AutoSEO integrate with?

AutoSEO's homepage lists 11 platforms: WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, BigCommerce, Duda, HubSpot, HighLevel, Lovable and RSS, plus a free hosted blog for anything else. Only the WordPress plugin and the Shopify app have public setup documentation; the other platforms appear only as logos on the homepage. It also offers a REST API and a hosted MCP server to read and edit articles, but no documented publishing webhook. BlogSEO auto-publishes through 23 integrations, including Ghost, Framer, Shopware, Drupal, Contentful, a custom webhook and AI app builders such as Bolt.new, Replit and v0. It covers Squarespace through its Hosted Blog and has no Duda integration. See the full list on our integrations page.

Does AutoSEO build backlinks?

Yes. AutoSEO advertises 5 to 10 backlinks a month from a network of other customers' sites and says it monitors links and replaces any that drop. Its Terms describe this as a link exchange network, say the number and timing of links are not guaranteed, and disclaim responsibility for any search penalties. Some Trustpilot reviewers say links arrived slowly or came from unrelated sites. BlogSEO also includes a backlink exchange, on a vetted network of 500+ real websites: each pair of sites is linked at most once, links are matched on topical relevance, and high-spam-score sites are filtered out. A $149/month add-on adds 500 premium backlink credits a month.

What AI models does AutoSEO use?

AutoSEO does not name its models. Its privacy policy and Terms list OpenAI and Anthropic as its content-generation providers. It does not disclose its image model either: featured images on its own blog are 1376×768 pixels (measured in October 2026), and each article also gets an infographic built from a template. BlogSEO writes with GPT-6 Astra and Claude Opus 5.5 and generates images up to 2K with GPT-Image-2.5 and Nano Banana Pro.

Is AutoSEO legit, and who is behind it?

AutoSEO is a real, paid service with a 4.1/5 Trustpilot rating across 116 reviews. It lists two co-founders: Peter Zaborszky, who founded ProPrivacy.com and has a background in SEO-driven affiliate sites, and Dr. Mihaly Kertesz, who comes from marketing. The service is operated by Automated SEO OÜ in Estonia. The getautoseo.com domain hosted an earlier AutoSEO product, a WordPress plugin for technical SEO, in 2023 and 2024; the current article and backlink service launched in late 2025. Other, unrelated products also use the AutoSEO name, so check the domain when you read reviews.

Is AutoSEO worth it in 2026?

It can be, if you want one done-for-you plan with little to set up, if your site runs on a platform from its list such as Squarespace or Duda, or if you are ready to pay yearly, which brings the price to $99/month. Its Trustpilot reviews mostly praise article quality, ease of use and support, while low-rated reviews mention charges after cancellation and slow or unrelated backlinks. On monthly billing it costs $149/month, about 54% more than BlogSEO for the same 30 articles, it has no AI visibility tracking, and the site warns that the price will rise to $199/month for new customers. Before committing, ask AutoSEO what caused the collapse in its domain's rankings that Semrush shows for 2024.

06 · Alternatives

What Are the Best Alternatives to AutoSEO?

Every tool below can take over AutoSEO's job of writing, publishing and backlinking articles on autopilot, so each card is a like-for-like swap, and each one states what you give up. AutoSEO is included in the table for reference, and starting prices are monthly-billing prices for one website.

  1. BlogSEO favicon1. BlogSEO

Best for: Hands-off articles, backlinks and 23 integrations for $97/month

    From $97/mo

BlogSEO runs the same loop as AutoSEO for $97/month instead of $149: 30 researched articles a month, auto-published, internally linked and backed by a backlink exchange on 500+ vetted sites. It writes with GPT-6 Astra and Claude Opus 5.5, generates images up to 2K, publishes through 23 integrations and adds Search Console analytics with keyword position tracking.

Choose BlogSEO over AutoSEO if you pay month to month and want 30 articles for $52 less, disclosed frontier models, 2K images and published rules for backlink placement.

Trade-off: AI visibility tracking costs $89/month extra, Squarespace is covered only through the Hosted Blog, and Duda is not supported.

  2. Outrank favicon2. Outrank

Best for: Flat-priced article autopilot with a backlink exchange and webhooks

    From $99/mo

Outrank is a close like-for-like swap at a lower price: one $99/month plan for 30 auto-published articles with a backlink exchange, YouTube embeds, unlimited users and a REST API with webhooks. It publishes to 8 platforms, including Ghost, Framer and Notion. It has no keyword research tool or AI visibility tracking.

Choose Outrank over AutoSEO if you want the same daily loop for $50/month less, publishing to Ghost, Framer or Notion, or a webhook that pushes articles to a custom site.

Trade-off: Original AI images cost $49/month extra, bringing the total to $148/month, and there is no built-in keyword research.

  3. Distribb favicon3. Distribb

Best for: API-first SEO autopilot for founders who work with AI agents

    From $97/mo

Distribb costs $97/month for 30 articles, $52 less than AutoSEO, and offers a 7-day free trial, Search Console analytics and 150+ included languages. It publishes to 9 targets, including Ghost, Notion and a custom webhook, offers an API, a hosted MCP server and a Claude Code skill, and runs a credit-based backlink exchange. Its writing model is undisclosed.

Choose Distribb over AutoSEO if you want a 7-day free trial, a Search Console dashboard and 150+ languages, or you publish to Ghost, Notion, Framer or a custom webhook.

Trade-off: It does not publish to Squarespace, BigCommerce, Duda or HubSpot, and its exchange page puts links at about 3 to 5 a month.

  4. BabyLoveGrowth favicon4. BabyLoveGrowth

Best for: GEO-focused daily content with a large partner backlink network

    From $99/mo

BabyLoveGrowth charges $99/month for 30 articles written with Claude Opus 4.6 and auto-publishes through 17 integrations, including Ghost, Framer, a custom webhook and AI app builders such as Bolt.new and v0. Backlinks come from a partner network it puts at 4,000+ sites, and its marketing centers on AI search citations. It has no keyword research or competitor analysis tool.

Choose BabyLoveGrowth over AutoSEO if you want a disclosed writing model, publishing to Ghost, Framer or a custom webhook, and a similar bundle for $50/month less on monthly billing.

Trade-off: Extra languages cost $49/month each, article images top out at 1280×714, and Trustpilot removed its rating over incentivized reviews.

  5. SEO.ai favicon5. SEO.ai

Best for: Articles, link exchange and Google Ads handled for one site

    From $149/mo

SEO.ai costs the same $149/month as AutoSEO and also bundles AI articles, auto-publishing, internal links and a link exchange, The Backlink Club. It adds Google Ads campaign creation and publishing to Framer, Dandomain or a custom webhook, but it has no keyword research or competitor analysis tool.

Choose SEO.ai over AutoSEO if you want Google Ads campaigns created alongside your articles, or you publish to Framer, Dandomain or a custom site through a webhook.

Trade-off: Writing in a second language requires the $299/month Multi Site plan, and its Trustpilot rating is 2.7/5.
