Billing

Everything you need to know about paying for BlogSEO: how plans work, what the free trial includes, and how to manage, pause, or cancel your subscription. You handle most of this yourself from Dashboard → Settings → Billing.

Plans and pricing

BlogSEO is a monthly subscription, and pricing is per website rather than per account. Each website you run is its own subscription with its own monthly cost, because BlogSEO crawls and maps each site to research keywords and build internal links, and that work has a fixed cost per site. For that reason a single plan cannot be split across several websites.

Every plan includes a monthly article allowance along with backlink credits and AI Brain Credits, and unused credits roll over from month to month. The base plan covers 30 articles per month, with lower and higher volume plans available.

You can see current plans and prices on our pricing page and inside Dashboard → Settings → Billing. If you run three or more websites, reach out through the support chat in your dashboard for a volume discount.

Free trial

BlogSEO offers a 3-day free trial so you can try the product before committing. It requires a credit card, but you are not charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then from your billing settings.

The trial is meant for two things: checking that the article content is a good fit for your brand, and confirming that you can connect your website to BlogSEO. It is not meant to show SEO results, because rankings and organic traffic take weeks to months to build, far longer than any trial. During the trial BlogSEO generates roughly one article per day, while paid plans generate up to five per day per website.

The backlink exchange is a paid feature, so it stays disabled during the trial.

Managing your subscription

You manage your subscription from Dashboard → Settings → Billing. Click Manage subscription to open the billing portal, where you can update your payment method, download invoices, pause, or cancel.

Pause your subscription

You can pause your subscription without cancelling it, directly from your billing settings. Pausing stops billing for a period while keeping your account and the articles you have already created. To set a specific pause length or to resume billing early, reach out through the support chat and we will adjust it for you.

Change your plan or article volume

To move to a different plan or change how many articles you receive each month, reach out through the support chat and we will update your subscription for you.

Add another website

To run BlogSEO on another website, add it from Dashboard → Settings → Billing: set your current website to the plan you want, then add the new website on its own plan. Each website is billed separately and appears in the website switcher in your dashboard. You can also ask support to set up additional sites for you.

Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel at any time yourself from Dashboard → Settings → Billing by opening Manage subscription and following the cancellation steps. You will be asked for a cancellation reason. The same flow applies whether you are on a paid plan or still in your free trial.

Cancelling during the free trial ends your subscription immediately. Cancelling an active paid subscription takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle, so you keep access until the period you already paid for runs out.

Refund policy

You can request a full refund within 36 hours of a payment. After 36 hours, only partial refunds are possible, and whether a refund is granted is at our discretion.

Refunds are not automatic, and there is no self-serve refund button. To request one, contact us through the support chat in your dashboard or by email, and include the reason for your request. Cancelling your subscription is separate from a refund: cancelling stops future charges but does not by itself refund a past payment.

Invoices

To receive invoices automatically, enable email invoices in Dashboard → Settings → Billing, and each new invoice is sent to your account email. You can also open the billing portal from Manage subscription to download your invoices. For invoices issued in the past, contact support and we will email them to you.

Invoices exist only while you have an active subscription, and they are tied to the account that owns it. If your billing page shows no active subscription while your team is subscribed, you may be signed in to a different account than the billing owner.

Changing the billing owner

Moving billing to a different person is handled by support. First add the new owner as a user under Dashboard → Settings → Users, then contact support to transfer the subscription to that account. Once the transfer is done, the new owner manages the subscription and payment details from Dashboard → Settings → Billing. Support can also remove a former user, or merge the subscriptions from several websites into one, if you need it.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I cancel my subscription or free trial?
You cancel yourself from Dashboard → Settings → Billing: open Manage subscription and follow the cancellation steps, giving a reason when asked. Cancelling during the free trial ends it immediately, while cancelling a paid subscription takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

What is your refund policy?
You can request a full refund within 36 hours of a payment. After 36 hours, only partial refunds are possible, and whether a refund is granted is at our discretion. To request one, contact support with the reason for your request.

I cancelled but I was still charged. What happened?
BlogSEO is a monthly subscription that renews automatically until it is cancelled, so a charge after a cancellation usually means the cancellation was not fully completed. Make sure you are signed in to the account that pays for the subscription, since a different account can show no active subscription. If you were charged after cancelling, contact support and we will sort out the payment with you.

Can I pause my subscription instead of cancelling?
Yes. You can pause your subscription from your billing settings without cancelling it. Pausing stops billing for a period while keeping your account and the articles you have already created. To set a specific pause length or resume early, contact support.

How do I get an invoice?
Enable email invoices in Dashboard → Settings → Billing to receive each new invoice by email automatically, or open the billing portal from Manage subscription to download them. For past invoices, contact support and we will email them to you. Invoices exist only while you have an active subscription.

Is the price per website or per account?
Pricing is per website. Each website you run is its own subscription with its own monthly cost, and a single plan cannot be split across several sites. If you run three or more websites, contact support for a volume discount.

Is there a free trial, and what does it include?
Yes, there is a 3-day free trial. It requires a credit card but does not charge you until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then from your billing settings. The trial is for evaluating the article content and confirming you can connect your website, not for measuring SEO results, which take weeks to months. The backlink exchange stays disabled during the trial.

Can I manage several websites under one account?
Yes. You can run multiple websites under a single login, each in its own workspace, and switch between them with the website switcher in your dashboard. Each website is billed separately, and you can add a new one from your billing settings or ask support to set it up.

How do I change who is billed on the account?
Add the new billing owner as a user under Dashboard → Settings → Users, then contact support to transfer the subscription to that account. Once transferred, the new owner manages billing and payment details from Dashboard → Settings → Billing.
