Framer Integration
Using the BlogSEO Framer plugin is the easiest way to improve the search rankings of your Framer site.
Requirements
- A published Framer site
- A BlogSEO account (create one here)
- The BlogSEO Framer plugin installed on your Framer site (You can install it here)
Key limitation: In comparison with other CMS, Framer doesn't support automatic publishing of articles. BlogSEO can only allow you to pull all your articles from BlogSEO to your Framer website. It cannot publish them for you: you need to manually sync your CMS collection inside Framer every once in a while.
Setting up BlogSEO Framer Plugin
Once you installed the BlogSEO Framer plugin on your website and created your BlogSEO account, you will need to create an API key inside BlogSEO for security reasons.
- Go to Integrations → Framer
- Click "Connect Framer" and generate an API key
- On Framer, go to CMS → Synced Collections and select BlogSEO synced collection
- In the modal which will show up, paste your API key that was generated on BlogSEO and test the connection
- Once you have securely connected your Framer plugin to BlogSEO, you are now ready to sync articles from BlogSEO to Framer using the "Sync" button at the top of the screen

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it possible to publish articles automatically from BlogSEO to Framer? Framer doesn't support receiving requests from external sources, so the only way to add your BlogSEO articles on your Framer site is by pulling the data inside your Framer website and using the Sync button of the BlogSEO synced collection.
Can I publish my articles to Framer from the BlogSEO interface? No, unfortunately Framer plugins don't support syncing data outside of Framer. You need to sign in to Framer to sync your BlogSEO articles.
Why is my article status "preview" on BlogSEO and not "published"? Since BlogSEO cannot directly publish articles to your Framer site and detect whether the article was successfully published or not, we never mark them as "published".
