GoHighLevel Integration

Connect BlogSEO to your GoHighLevel sub-account to automatically publish SEO-optimized articles to the GoHighLevel blog.

If you use GoHighLevel to deploy a WordPress site, this integration is not the right one. Use the WordPress integration instead.

This integration is made for the blog feature of GoHighLevel. If your sub-account only has a site or a funnel without a blog, the integration will not work.

Requirements

  • A GoHighLevel sub-account with an active blog
  • A BlogSEO account with your website added and an active subscription (create one here)
  • Design of the blog taken care of in the sub-account you want to publish to (BlogSEO publishes articles, it does not style the blog)

Setting Up GoHighLevel Integration

Before connecting, make sure the blog is already set up and styled inside the GoHighLevel sub-account where you want to publish.

  1. In your BlogSEO dashboard, make sure the correct website is selected.
  2. Go to Integrations → GoHighLevel and click Connect GoHighLevel.
  3. You will be redirected to the GoHighLevel marketplace to install the BlogSEO app.
  4. Install the app on the correct sub-account — the one that contains the blog you want to publish to.
  5. After installation, you will be redirected back to BlogSEO to finish configuring the integration.

During installation, make sure you are signed in to your BlogSEO dashboard with the right website selected, and that you install the GoHighLevel app on the right sub-account.

Selecting a blog

If the connected sub-account has multiple blogs, you will be prompted to select which blog BlogSEO should publish to. If the sub-account has a single blog, it is selected automatically.

Troubleshooting

The integration does not detect a blog

The GoHighLevel integration requires the sub-account to have an active blog. If the sub-account only contains a site or a funnel, BlogSEO has no blog to publish to. Create a blog inside the sub-account and try connecting again.

Articles are published to the wrong sub-account

This usually means the BlogSEO app was installed on a different sub-account than the one you intended. Uninstall the app from the wrong sub-account in GoHighLevel and reconnect from BlogSEO while making sure to select the correct sub-account during installation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this integration work with GoHighLevel WordPress sites? No. If your site is deployed through GoHighLevel's WordPress hosting, use the WordPress integration instead. The GoHighLevel integration only targets the native GoHighLevel blog feature.

What if my sub-account has multiple blogs? You will be prompted to pick which blog BlogSEO should publish to during the configuration step.

How are tags chosen for the blog? BlogSEO pulls your existing articles to detect any pre-existing tag pattern in your blog. It then tries to fill in the tag that best matches the article being published. If no clear pattern can be inferred, the tag is left empty for the blog post.
